Believe in yourself all the way and give maximum effort. Learn from defeat and setback and use those lessons to keep striving for your goals.

About me

I started playing badminton because Grampa coached my Primary School & local clubs. He would be my main inspiration and support throughout my entire career. Although I was capable at other sports, I loved the travel & friendships I made as a junior and the feeling of achievement when you’ve trained hard for a goal.

I still enjoy pushing myself to do my best, feeling fit and inspiring anyone I can. My main qualities as an athlete are the motivation to work hard and the determination not to give up, and as a coach I’m a strong leader, very passionate about my job and love seeing people enjoy badminton.

Sport has taught me many valuable lessons, not only from success, but from disappointment; the journey isn’t easy, but it’s worth it when you have the abilities, courage and perseverance to pursue your goals.
