My journey in sport started as early as I can remember. Physical activity was always made fun at school and at home! It was always about making small improvements and learning from mistakes! Because of this I have been lucky enough to compete in a number of sports to a high level such as rugby, basketball, track and handball and have experienced both success and failure throughout my sporting career. I always want to be the best I can be and I give 100% effort to everything I do, so that I have no regrets. Learning from my failures allowed me to grow and develop as an athlete and I am grateful for all of the opportunities that I have had. I have now continued my love for sport into my career as a PE teacher and I am lucky that I get to share my message on a daily basis that “Success does not come easy; it is achieved and sustained through hard work, effort and enjoying what you are doing.”
